I have been writing and submitting articles to Associated Content for about a month or so, and I wanted to share my experiences with you. First let me tell you that if you are looking for a way to make some quick money with your writing online, then you should check this out.
Associated Content pays its Content Producers to write articles, create videos, and audios, on whatever topic they like. You do not need to be a professional writer, but if you are one, your AC Content Producer’s page is a great way to market your skills and find paying gigs. (hint, hint)
The amount that they will pay for written articles varies from as low as $3 to upwards of $20. I’ve not been offered more than $10 for an article yet, however, every article that I have submitted has earned more money than previous articles.
While I don’t think I’d rely on Associated Content for my full time income, it is a great way to earn some quick money with your writing online without an enormous amount of effort.
Tips:
-Write. Submit. Repeat.
-Write about things that people are searching for already
-Pay attention to keyword density
-Socially Bookmark your articles to increase your page views
-Network with other content producers
-Keep on writing!

Today is the final day of the Thirty Day Challenge. It was so much fun and I learned so much. I did not, however, meet the goal of the challenge which was to earn $10 in 30 days online using free Internet Marketing tactics. I do feel like I have gained valuable knowledge and tools from this experience so that I know that I can continue on and eventually end up with a successful cluster of sites.
A great thing that I have gained is some new online friends. Early on in the challenge we were broken up into teams. I am in an awesome team and we are going to continue to stick together now that the challenge is over so that we can network, share ideas and resources and encourage one another’s continued success.
mmo blog has a great list of 30DC action items on his blog, Ed is going to leave the content up and he will continue to encourage those of us who are late bloomers.
Thankfully, my web content producing efforts continue to be successful. I did some marketing last week and found some new clients, so I’m feeling confident about the way my practice is slowly growing.
So, as always, keep on writing.

Today is Day 7 in the world of the 30 Day Challenge. Today is the day when we will be analyzing the seven niche keywords that we chose earlier in the challenge. Today’s assignment is to take those keywords and use http://freekeyword.wordtracker.com and Google to check and see how many searches each day a keyword phrase receives, and how much competition each keyword has. Whew! This was tedious work, but I can see how it’s going to pay off and it will give me the data I need to narrow down my seven choices. In fact, I have already sent at least one of my niches off to hang out on the “reserve bench” because there is just far too much competition for that keyword phrase.
So, I’m hanging in there with the 30 Day Challenge. I am learning how to use stumbledupon, I’m muddling through facebook, and twitter is next on my list. I am all caught up with my Day 7 tasks, and I’m eager to see what juicy topics we delve into tomorrow.
In my Freelance Writing practice, I am learning about article marketing. Tonight I listened to a teleseminar by Jeff Herring, aka, ‘The Article Guy.‘ It was all about how to be more productive as an article writer, and how when your article volume increases, so does your web site’s traffic, subscribers, and ultimately profits. So, go check out Jeff’s site. It’s jammed full of great resources and he does these teleseminars each week where he gives away useful content and even a bit of coaching as well.
Now I’m off to write an article from an idea that I plucked from listening to him tonight.
Keep on writing.

All I can say is Wow! The 30 Day Challenge is just awesome-tastic so far. Through the challenge I am learning a ton about social media and web 2.0 marketing, but I think that the absolute juiciest part of the whole thing is the peeps. Ed has recommended that we break ourselves up into teams, and everyone on my absolutely fabulous team, ‘Inside 30′ is excited and ready to take this thing by storm. So as I get a minute each day I will post updates here about how I’m doing and what I’m learning. We’re still in the research phase. I have found my niches and now I am doing keyword research to drill down and find the best keywords to pursure. Exciting stuff.
I just want to send a shout-out to Ed, who is just completely cool for taking all of us through this lief-changing training. All of us 30DC’ers are learning the Tao of Ed, which is basically, “Let go and let Ed.” I am looking forward to completing this challenge and meeting the ultimate goal of making (at least) $10 using IM.
Here’s are some great places to start researching niche ideas:
Compilation of Top Searches (Meta top seaches, if you will)

Google Trends

Amazon.com Hot New Releases

Yahoo! Buzz Index

Keep on writing.

Happy August everyone! As you can see it’s been a crazy-busy summer for me. I had been working at home trying to support myself and my children doing freelance writing, but alas, the wolf was at the door and I had to put full time freelancing aside and seek a J-O-B. Now I am once again working at a regular job trading my time for dollars, but I’m not mad as they say. At least now I am earning enough to support my family. I learned a great deal while I was freelancing, and I know now what I have to do and the steps that I will have to take in order to make that transition successfully.
But, I am still writing feverishly. When I get home from work after I have fed the little ones and sent them off to bed, I sit up with my trusty laptop and write ’til my eyelids get droopy. Some mornings I get up at five and get some work done then. Other mornings I take a walk or do yoga. But I am sticking with it because writing is something that I love and enjoy doing, so it’s only natural that I should be able to find a way that it can sustain me financially as well as it does emotionally and spiritually.
So, I am back and glad to be here. I have a plan and I am working once again towards financial independence. I have joined a really cool project that I have heard good things about. It’s called the 30 Day Challenge. It begins today, so off I go.
Keep on writing.
Peace.
